This past Sunday Brandon participated in a Dad's Tanglewood flag football game. For quite some time, he has been looking forward to the game. Getting to play quarterback on a Sunday afternoon at the TCU indoor practice field doesn't get much better for Brandon.
The first play of the game, he threw for a touch down and then felt a big kick in his calf only to realize it was torn calf muscle. So out for the rest of the game and on his way home to ice and elevate his leg.
Out of concern, Ryan made crutches for his Daddy out of Tinker Toys. He then told me he was carrying Daddy's bird. Trying to make the connection, I asked if he meant burden rather than bird?
"Oh yes, burden," he said.
Galatians 6:2
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Oh, wow, what a touching story. Ryan has a sweet spirit and a caring heart, doesn't he? Thanks for sharing! TB :)
